1. General Information

Our office hours are Monday–Thursday from 8:30am–4:30pm MST. Our preferred method of communication during normal business hours for your project is via Asana (see Project Management below for more information).

We do our best to respond to all communication regarding active projects within 1 business day.

Scheduling calls helps us create a flow in our work and allows us to focus on your project! During our time together, 1:1 phone or video calls may be scheduled in advance here

*Please note: We do not communicate about work and projects via text messages or social media direct messages.

2. project management

Now that your project is booked with us, we’ll stop using email to have our conversation and we’ll start using the Natasia Designs project management tool, Asana.

A project management tool is a secure space online where we have have conversations, share files, set reminders, and create to-do lists.

Whereas files often get lost when managing projects through email, nothing gets lost or forgotten in Asana. It’s the simplest way to keep your project organized and make sure it goes as smoothly as possible!

Don’t worry—you won’t need to pay for this tool and it’s not hard to use. To help explain things further, please watch this quick video we've made that'll walk you through everything.

You’ll receive an invitation within the first week of booking your project, if you haven’t already!

*Pro Tip: Be sure to bookmark the Asana page, keep the notifications turned on and keep your login handy.

3. Your Homework + First Steps

Once you hop into Asana, there will be a series of tasks called “First Steps”. Within here, it will outline any payments due for your project.

The Homework for your project will vary depending on what we’re doing. Hop into Asana and look for a task called “Client Homework”. This will go over anything the Natasia Designs team needs from you in order to get our project started. Any content or files needing to be uploaded or sent our way can be done directly in Asana in this task.

If you don’t see this task, you’re in luck! No homework for you, automatic A+!

4. Feedback Guidelines

We really appreciate simple and straightforward feedback. It helps us clearly understand your thoughts and make the right changes to your designs.

Here are a few tips on providing awesome feedback:

  • Try and use bullet points to break up your revisions and feedback.

  • Use headers to organize your feedback.

  • Be as specific as you can.

  • Read over your feedback to make sure it’s clear and check that you’ve answered any questions we may have asked.

  • Post your feedback as a comment on the relevant Asana discussion instead of emailing us directly. Back and forth emails can get difficult to track but communicating in Asana is a breeze!

  • If you have team members that would like to add their feedback, we kindly ask that you gather the feedback into one message. This stops everyone from getting confused and keeps the project organized.

5. Timelines

Your project will have a set timeline established in Asana that we’ve either discussed over email or phone beforehand. Once you review and approve the timeline, we’ll stick to it as best we can.

To help keep your project on track to finishing on time, please provide feedback on your designs within two business days of receiving them.

We really appreciate your effort to provide files and feedback on time. Timeliness from both of us will help us get your project done on (or even before!) the deadline so you can move on to the next exciting task on your to-do list and we can cheer you on.

*Please note, minor project revisions require at the very least, two business days to complete and can vary based on your project size. Typically, we’ll let you know when you can expect revisions from me within Asana.

What happens now?

Once you’ve read through this document, completed the “First Steps” and “Client Homework” in Asana, we’re all set to begin your project!

If needed, feel free to set up a call before your start date where you can ask any last-minute questions you may have.
